Description

Cloyster (#091) is a Water/Ice-type “Bivalve Pokémon” introduced in Generation I. It has the abilities Battle Armor or Shell Armor, and evolves from Shellder when exposed to the move Clamp or when traded while holding an Everstone. Cloyster is commonly found in rocky coastal habitats, where it guards its territory fiercely. Curiously, Cloyster’s shell can withstand extreme pressures, making it one of the toughest Pokémon shells in the ocean.
