Poliwhirl (#057) is a Water-type “Bubble Jet Pokémon” introduced in Generation I, known for its swirling blue body and the spirals on its belly. It primarily inhabits ponds and lakes, where it uses its powerful limbs to propel itself through water. Its abilities include Water Absorb and Damp, and it evolves into Poliwrath or Politoed. A curious fact is that Poliwhirl can sometimes be seen spinning rapidly to create whirlpools.
