Torkoal (#324) is a Fire-type “Coal Pokémon” introduced in Generation III. Known for its coal-filled shell and ability to project smoke, it often inhabits arid, volcanic regions. Its primary ability is White Smoke, preventing stat reduction, and it can have the Hidden Ability Shell Armor. Torkoal evolves from a Shell Game Pokémon and is famous for its heat-resistant shell, which contains hundreds of tiny coal pieces. Interestingly, Torkoal’s smoke is so dense that it is sometimes used to produce natural steam for health remedies.
