Vileplume (#045) is a Grass/Poison-type “Petal Bloom Pokémon” introduced in Generation I. It features a large, vibrant flower on its head, which releases a sweet aroma to attract prey. Its abilities include Chlorophyll and Effect Spore, and it evolves from Gloom when exposed to a Leaf Stone. Typically found in tropical forests and marshlands, Vileplume’s pollen can cause allergies in humans. An interesting fact is that its large flower is inspired by the corpse flower, known for its foul smell.
